MEAS ANNOUNCES the 2013 AP® SCHOLARS

MEAS is proud to announce that while most seniors did very well on their AP tests, five of our high school students ( listed below) received the College Board State AP® Scholar Awards based on their outstanding performance on the 2013 Advanced Placement® Exams.

Samer Samir M Girgis,

Ibrahim El Kashlan,

Ali Thabet,

Abdel Rahman Mouftah,

Zeina Sedky,

This is the 23 rd annual celebration of AP Scholars. The College Board confers this distinction on the top students with scores of 3 or higher on at least 3 AP Exams.

The College Board’s AP Program provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school and to earn college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. In 2013, more than 2.2 million students representing more than 18,000 high schools, both public and nonpublic,
in the US and worldwide, took approximately 4 million AP Exams.
