Beat Boxing and Schizophrenia rock MES GOT Talent

The annual MES Got Talent days are a fun opportunity for students to practice and share their special skills and talents in a non competitive, friendly setting. This year three different programs were organized for primary, middle and high school students. The programs were rich with various piano recitals, singing and comic sketch performances. Nonetheless MES students -and teachers-never fail to amaze us with new non-traditional talents. "Schizophrenia" a play written and directed by Mr. Ahmed Rafaat and performed by an enthusiastic group of high school students was spectacular. Beat Boxing by Farouk El Gohary, a 6th primary student, was by far the most innovative performances throughout the two days.

So what is Beat Boxing anyway? Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of producing drum beatsrhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, and voice.

 MES sure GOT TALENT!
